The Ideal Candidate

About you…

As a Registered Nurse you will have a minimum of 6 to 12 months nursing experience, and be passionate about delivering person centred care. You will have current NMC registration, up to date clinical practices, and evidence of continual professional development. You will provide excellent clinical support and supervision to your team to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the service.

You will be given support and training to develop your clinical skills and management skills, including opportunities to gain qualifications at Masters level. We offer a quality work/life balance that is second to none, with full time or part time hours.

Rate of pay: £14.75 - £16.53 per hour

About the Company

Turn Furlong Specialist Centre, Kingsthorpe, Northampton, offers a range of short stay, intermediate and respite care services for older people to enable them to return to their own home; await a move to live at a more appropriate community setting or to provide a break for carers.

The following services are available:

1) 24 places offering rehabilitation
2) 8 respite care places
3) 19 respite care places for older people with dementia related illnesses.

Physiotherapy and occupational therapy support are provided for older people requiring rehabilitation and there is a spa pool, fitness suite and occupational therapy kitchen within the Centre accessed from a spectacular central top lit arcade.Turn Furlong has 51 single bedrooms in total, consisting of 37 single rooms with en-suite facilities including walk-in shower, and 14 apartments with en-suite facilities, separate lounge/ diner and well equipped kitchenette facilities.

There is a small shop and hairdressing salon two communal dining areas, and a number of lounges. There are landscaped enclosed gardens surrounding the Centre.
