The Ideal Candidate

About you…

As a Registered Nurse you will have a minimum of 6 to 12 months nursing experience, and be passionate about delivering person centred care. You will have current NMC registration, up to date clinical practices, and evidence of continual professional development. You will provide excellent clinical support and supervision to your team to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the service.

You will be given support and training to develop your clinical skills and management skills, including opportunities to gain qualifications at Masters level. We offer a quality work/life balance that is second to none, with full time or part time hours.

Rate of pay: £15.42 - £16.01 per hour

About the Company

The Barton Health & Community Care Centre Centre is based in Barton under Needwood and works closely with East Staffs Clinical Commissioning Group. In 2007 it replaced the much loved but outdated Barton Cottage Hospital and the Barton GP surgery, with short stay inpatient beds for intermediate and palliative care and a small respite unit for the younger physically disabled. A range of community health care staff are based on site together with a modern GP Health Centre with a whole suite of consulting and examination rooms.

The Centre is operated in partnership with South Staffordshire Primary Care Trust

Situated above the Health Centre is Shaw healthcare’s flagship Extra Care scheme – Barton Mews – 29 one and two bedroom apartments available for sale to people over 55 requiring some health and/or personal care in order to remain living independently. Domiciliary care is available from Shaw’s in house team.
