Rate of pay: £14.44 - £16.89 per hour

The Ideal Candidate

About you…

As a Registered Mental Health  Nurse you will have a minimum of 6 to 12 months nursing experience, and be passionate about delivering person centred care. You will have current NMC registration, up to date clinical practices, and evidence of continual professional development. You will provide excellent clinical support and supervision to your team to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the service.

You will be given support and training to develop your clinical skills and management skills, including opportunities to gain qualifications at Masters level. We offer a quality work/life balance that is second to none, with full time or part time hours.

About the Company

Surehaven Glasgow is registered with Health Improvement Scotland as an Independent Low Secure Hospital, and accommodates twenty one patients aged  between 18year and 65years with a primary diagnosis of severe and enduring mental illness, all of whom are detained under the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Scotland Act 2003 or Criminal Procedures (Scotland) Act 1995.

The hospital is a 21 bedded unit (all ensuite) split into 2 gender specific wards. It is superbly designed to maximize communal and living space for the patients as well as providing activity rooms for the facilitation of therapeutic programmes.
