The Ideal Candidate

About you…

As a Registered Nurse you will have a minimum of 6 to 12 months nursing experience, and be passionate about delivering person centred care. You will have current NMC registration, up to date clinical practices, and evidence of continual professional development. You will provide excellent clinical support and supervision to your team to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the service.

You will be given support and training to develop your clinical skills and management skills, including opportunities to gain qualifications at Masters level. We offer a quality work/life balance that is second to none, with full time or part time hours.

Rate of pay: £15.43 - £16.01 per hour

About the Company

Purpose built in 1991 in Blaina, Abertillery, Cwm Celyn care home comprises four units each with six bedrooms, a lounge and dining rooms and there is also a central communal activity area.

Cwm Celyn is recognised as a specialist facility for people with complex needs and has access to Shaw’s own clinical specialist and senior team – this has enabled us to establish a successful supported-living scheme from the home.

Our underpinning philosophy is that everyone should be supported to integrate fully with the local community and take advantage of social, recreational and educational opportunities.

Our overall aim is to provide a valued social environment for residents and to enable and assist them in the development of their personal, social and life skills to the fullest possible extent. To achieve this we use a person centred approach in which every resident has a named carer and is supported on an individual basis.
